STATUS OF 440 FORD LINCOLN LAVAL – CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19
During this period of important upheaval, our team would like to inform you that we are closely monitoring the development of the situation as well as the frequent announcements by the levels of government in order to adhere to the recommendations as soon as possible.
To date, several actions have been taken at 440 to limit as much as possible any propagations, to secure the employees as well as our customers.
We have implemented a series of measures which allow us to affirm today that our environment such as our showroom, our waiting room for service and all other sections of the establishment are of a health point of view, highly controlled.
During your visit, you will notice the following changes:
- Concession entrances are now limited. Access from the front is through the main entrance as well as through the service department. We have put up signage to guide you.
- We have created mandatory hand cleaning stations at front doors and dedicated staff will assist you during this crucial step.
- In the Service department, our team uses gloves to move customers’ vehicles, same for valet and valuers.
- Your steering wheel and other contact point will be disinfected before handing over your vehicle
- Chairs have been removed from the bistro to ensure a distance of 1 meter between individuals.
- The magazines were removed from the bistro and waiting rooms.
- Staff who have recently traveled outside the country are forced to quarantine, as are all those who will return soon.
- We have determined a list of higher health risk locations in the dealership, these locations have been designated as green dots and our maintenance team will clean these locations on a constant basis (every 30 minutes) throughout the day.
- Customers are no longer admitted to the workshop to protect our employees.
For all our customers who wish to acquire a vehicle in the coming days and weeks, our sales team is always available according to the usual schedule to welcome you at the dealership. If, however, you want to avoid public places, know that our team can make you try a new or used vehicle directly at your home. We can also conclude a sales transaction without you having to travel.
Our website, 440ford.ca, is also full of information allowing you to have your current vehicle evaluated, view the models that interest you, find out about our discounts and more.
For the service department, the appointments and the regular schedule are maintained for the moment.
On the other hand, we now offer a valet parking service (pick-up and delivery) for a fee for customers who do not wish to come to the dealership. The cost for this service is starting at $20 per trip for the Laval region and $25 for the south of the North Crown as well as the Greater Montreal region south of Metropolitan Boulevard.
You can rest assured that we have the capacity to be very responsive and that the health of our team and our customers is our highest priority. We will keep you closely informed of the measures taken by our establishment.
